Our 7-day journey aboard the Moon Shadow was exceptional! Accompanied by four other couples and led by a crew of three, our exploration of the British Virgin Islands became an unforgettable adventure. Captain Lené set the tone for our trip with her confident and friendly demeanor. She sailed us to all of the top spots in the BVI. The "no stress" approach of her deck hand, H, added a layer of tranquility, making every moment aboard relaxing. Richard, our chef, was a culinary master who turned each meal into a delectable masterpiece. I would not miss a meal if I were you! The Moon Shadow is a beautifully appointed floating haven. From luxurious amenities to practical conveniences, the yacht provides a perfect blend of comfort and style. The inclusion of water toys adds another level of fun to water activities. What made our voyage truly special, however, was not just the incredible yacht or the breathtaking locations. Five stars for Captain Louis and Chef Tersia on the Dolce Vita!
My husband and I sailed on the Dolce Vita 48 foot catamaran for seven nights with two other couples in the Exumas, Bahamas. The travel was seamless with Captain Louis arranging transport between the airport and the marina. The boat was amazing, plenty of room for a group of our size. What made this trip 5 stars was definitely Captain Louis and his wife, chef Tersia. We enjoyed getting to know them, and they spoiled us with the most amazing meals and desserts every single day. We loved seeing the secluded Cayes and taking the dingy to various beaches. Snorkeling was really fun also - we saw lots of sharks, spotted eagle rays, turtles, and of course reef fish. A highlight of the trip was being able to fish off the boat while we were traveling between some of the islands, the guys hooked into a school of Mahi Mahi which fed our entire group an amazing dinner that night! The boat (only 8 months old) was having generator issues which changed our trip itinerary and limited our ability to use A/C during the evenings (unless we parked at the marinas, which we ended up needing to do multiple nights). Otherwise it wasn't too big of a deal. I would definitely recommend this trip, or any similar sailing trip with Captain Louis and chef Tersia!!

Cashmere Catamaran, trip of a lifetime!
We just returned from a 7-day catamaran trip to USVI on the Cashmere. What an amazing trip we had! It was truly the trip of a lifetime. I cannot say enough good things about our crew Andre and Magda. Captain Andre showed us so many amazing beaches and beautiful scenic spots. The snorkeling was amazing. Magda's food was 5 star every single day! I will definitely be booking another one of these trips in the future and really hope it will be with Andre and Magda! The communication with yacht.vacations was not excellent. Our point person changed 3 times and we were not notified. I would hope in the future the communication would be better prior to trip departure. The boat itself also had some mechanical issues that the crew had no control over. Andre and Magda went above and beyond to make up for these issues. My family and I had an incredible experience with Sailing Pura Vida in the British Virgin Islands. Captain JJ's navigation skills were top-notch, and Chef Coral's culinary creations were a highlight of the trip. The crew's hospitality and the breathtaking views made it a truly unforgettable sailing adventure. If you’re looking to relax and unwind, this is the trip for you. Trip of a lifetime with JJ & Coral
The trip was more than I ever imagined. “Pura Vida” was a beautiful catamaran with ample space and truly comfortable beds. Our Captain JJ was knowledgeable, relaxed and so much fun! Trip of a lifetime
Just got back from an amazing 7 day cruise on the Cashmere catamaran. We traveled with two couples and the best crew on the Caribbean. There cannot be two better people than Magda and Andre. Andre took us to so many beaches and scenic spots while Magda prepared 5 star meals all week long. There are not enough words to express how wonderful these two people made the trip so memorable for myself and my friends. If you are lucky enough to have these two as your crew you will not have any regrets only memories of a lifetime. The Cashmere had some mechanical issues that were beyond the control of the crew. Highly Recommend The Buena Vida!
If you are considering a unique sailing adventure in the Bahamas, this is the way to go! Our trip was off to a great start the moment my husband and I along with his siblings and their spouses met Captain Andrew and Chef Julia on the dock! They were very careful and thorough to make sure all our preferences were taken into consideration before we arrived. Their kindness and knowledge made this trip one we will never forget! Andrew and Julia quickly became great friends to us. Captain Andrew kept us safe and comfortable while we were having a blast. Visiting the remote Islands, snorkeling, walking on Boo-Boo Hill, and relaxing under the sail were some of my favorite activities. Chef Julia lavished us with the most amazing and wide variety meals! Every dish was beautiful and delicious! I am so amazed how she moved about so quietly while cooking! In the evenings we enjoyed games and conversations. If you are planning a trip on the Buena Vida, start getting excited! You’re going to have the trip of a lifetime!
